![]() ![]() The hugely anticipated Xbox console exclusive will arrive on November 11, and will be Bethesda's first brand new series in decades. The video included more game-focused information too, including the first companion to be revealed, and how an old Oblivion mechanic has been resurrected for the new dialogue system. The developers explained that the game wants to offer the question of "what is out there?" They promise romance, adventure, and mystery along the way, but say that there's another layer of presenting the cosmos and getting players ot "ask the big questions." There's a lot more to see beyond that, much of which remains tantalisingly unexplained. We also learned a little more about the Crimson Fleet, the game's more obviously evil pirate faction (who you can join them, and even double-cross), and seemingly got a look at one of their NPC designs: We previously found out this location is the Collective's capital, called Akila – although the symbol on the wall below appears to be associated with the Crimson Fleet pirates, so it's not clear if Akila can be taken over, or needs to be freed:Īnd there's also the Ryujin Industries mega-corporation's more cyberpunk-inflected cities, in which you'll be able to start working for the company: There's also the home of the Freestar Collective, which offers more of a "space western" approach. We see the sleek, sun-dappled ships and locations home to the United Colonies space republic: During the video, we find out that some of the art represents specific locations based on Starfield's major factions.
